The New Media Academy is a project built by the UC Berkeley Center for New Media to share the latest in emerging technologies while cultivating technological equity in our communities.

We are an interdisciplinary research center based at the University of California, Berkeley, with faculty from across five divisions and colleges. We focus on questions of how radical shifts in technology intersect with radical shifts in society, culture, politics, and economics.

The New Media Academy is aimed at tech, art, and other non-degree seeking professionals, pursuing an expertise in areas of new media.
